How to Add Your Business
1) Create an Account with your Username and Password - here
You will be required to activate your account via the automated email sent after username creation
Please check your Spam folder or Junk Mail folder to be sure it hasn't been sent there if you cannot find it.
2) Login using the username and password you have just created - here
3) Add Your New Business details by clicking - here
Add all the details you like - Company Name and State are essential for your entry.
The Icon can be uploaded to show your logo on the overview and details pages (this will be automatically resized on upload).
Assigning categories to your business: can be selected from the bottom. Each Category will branch out when you select the + image beside it. Select the categories in the deepest part of each major category.
For example: If my business sells Bouquets in NSW, I would select the small "+" beside "New South Wales", then I would select the small "+" beside "Flowers", then I would select the category "Bouquets" so that it is highlighted and then I would select the arrow ">>>"toward the right so that the category name is passed over in to the right box. Then go and select any other category your business deals with and add them too. Remember: Your categories you have selected will be reviewed so don't overdo it. There are no search engine benefits if you select categories that your business does not actually provide. Please let us know if there are categories you would like, that are not available.
Longitude and Latitude if you leave these, we will add them for you (that is if you want your business placed on the interactive maps).
Meta data and Descriptions you do not need to enter anything in these fields. It will be automatically filled out when you save your entry.
5) Re-Editing your Business Entry - to do this you only need to Login (if you are not already). From the right hand menu, select "Your Business Listings". Click the edit button on your business entry.
What if my Business is already on here. How do I edit it?
1) register with the email address that is used in the details of your business listing.
2) send a message to us indicating that you would like to have your account linked with your business using the contact us form - here
3) We will send an email letting you know it is linked and then you can edit it as described above
Why doesn't my business show up in Google immediately if I search for it straight after I have entered it to this directory?
1) It will take around a month before google crawls and displays your entry. Bing is usually around half that time.
2) If you have waited long enough and you still don't have your entry listed in google or bing, let us know and we will check your keywords for your entry.
